How do I know which vehicle type I have?

While distinguishing between a regular bike and a standard car (PKW/Sedan) is usually obvious, the differences between commercial van sizes - and the specific requirements for bikes and cargo bikes - can be a bit more subtle. To ensure you receive the correct orders and fair pricing, your vehicle must meet the minimum cargo space dimensions for its category. Vehicle Classifications & Dimensions

Bike / E-Bike

• Minimum Space: 40cm Length x 30cm Width x 15cm Height

• What it is: Standard E-bike. Your bike must have the capacity to securely carry small items, for example, by using a delivery box or a backpack/bag mounted on the back.

 Cargo Bike / Cargo E-Bike

• Minimum Space: 60cm Length x 40cm Width x 40cm Height

• What it is: Heavy-duty or specialized bicycles equipped with a dedicated, larger transport box or cargo area.

Standard Sedan Car (PKW)

• Minimum Space: 1.0m Length x 0.7m Width x 0.5m Height

• What it is: Your everyday standard passenger vehicle, with enough storage space for most items.

Caddy

• Minimum Space: 1.6m Length x 1.2m Width x 1.2m Height

• What it is: Small panel vans or high-roof kombis that are a step up from a standard sedan car.

Transporter

• Minimum Space: 2.8m Length x 1.27m Width x 1.4m Height

• What it is: Medium to large standard panel vans.

XL Transporter

• Minimum Space: 3.2m Length x 1.4m Width x 1.8m Height

• Important Rule: Your vehicle must meet or exceed all of these minimum dimensions to qualify as an XL. If your vehicle does not meet all three criteria, it will be classified as a standard Transporter.

Box Truck (Transporter mit Kofferaufbau)

• Minimum Space: 4.3m Length x 2.0m Width x 2.1m Height

• What it is: Large box trucks built specifically to standard Box Truck / Kofferaufbau expectations.
