The Basics: Tech & Vehicle

Before you upload documents, make sure you have the tools for the job:

Your Tech	You need a smartphone running Android 6.0+ or iOS 14+ with a reliable GPS and mobile data connection to receive orders.
Your Vehicle	It must be road-legal.

Document Submission Guidelines

As part of the registration process, you will need to provide several documents.
Please ensure all uploads are clear, uncropped, and free of reflections.

Category		Requirement Details
Identity Verification	EU Citizens: Valid National ID (Personalausweis) or passport Non-EU Citizens: Residence Permit explicitly allowing self-employment.

Driver's License	Bikes/Cargo Bikes: No license required Cars, Caddies, & Transporters: Valid "B" class license required

Gewerbeanmeldung	This proves you can work as a commercial entity. The name must match your ID and Lalamove profile. Read more in our blog article: Trade Registration in Just a Few Steps

Profile Picture	A clear portrait to identify you to customers. No sunglasses, face fully in frame, looking at the camera. No nudity.
	❌ Incorrect	✅ Correct
Vehicle Photo	Must clearly show the license plate. If incorrect, you will be asked to resubmit.

Tax Document Submission

Acceptable Proof Documents

	Acceptable examples
For Steuernummer (Tax number)	Letter/notice from Finanzamt that clearly shows “Steuernummer” and the business name/address
For USt-IdNr (VAT number)	Confirmation/letter showing USt-IdNr (any official communication or registration confirmation that displays it) Invoice header/business letterhead where USt-IdNr is shown clearly The VAT Number must be tied to the Business name (or legal owner name for sole proprietors)
Not acceptable (Reject reasons)	These are the documents and situations that Lalamove can not accept: Personal Steuer-ID instead of business Steuernummer Unreadable, cropped, or edited documents that hide the needed field(s) Any document that shows only a number without context (“Steuernummer/USt-IdNr” label missing)

How to Resume Your Registration

Open the Lalamove Driver app and click "Register."
Scroll down and tap "Resume Registration."
Enter the phone number used for your registration.
