To ensure the smoothest possible pickup, add a brief note with details about your items (such as their size or weight) before you place your order. Clear details give drivers instant peace of mind before they accept, making it the easiest way to speed up your booking and guarantee a hassle-free experience from start to finish. The driver will pick up and deliver from door-to-door. But what if things get a bit heavier or especially bulky? Don't worry, you can easily choose between two practical options right in the Lalamove app:
Driver Assistance: The driver's ready to roll up their sleeves and help you with loading and unloading. When there's a bit more to carry (like a heavy sofa or a large commercial pallet), you work together as a team. This saves you time and ensures your delivery gets to its destination safely.
Driver and an Extra Helper: This option is perfect if you'd rather sit back and relax, or when there’s lots to do. Either two people will arrive at your location and take care of the heavy lifting for you, or, if you are willing to help but there is a large volume of items (such as when moving flats), this option gets things done even faster.
These additional services can be booked for 30 minutes, or hourly increments. This time is for both loading and unloading, so, for example, if you need 40 minutes to load, and 20 minutes to unload, the 1-hour option is the right way to go.
When it comes to planning, time is always a key factor. That's why the Lalamove app automatically includes 10 minutes of free waiting time per stop. If your delivery is light and loading is quick, you don't need to add any extra options. A standard booking is all it takes.
